RESOLUTION NO. 777
OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
SITE, ARCHITECTURE, LANDSCAPING, GRADING AND
LIGHTING FOR A MULTI -TENANT COMMERCIAL BUILDING.

LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Southeast corner of Homestead Road and Stelling Road
FINDINGS:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect to
this application:
1. That the proposed building configuration and concept is consistent
with use permit approval granted under Resolution No 1695 of the
Planning Commission.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they
do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the
event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein
shall apply.
9. That the recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibits A 1st Rev., B, E of
this application except as may be amended by special conditions contained herein.
10. Final configuration of the trash enclosure area shall be subject to staff
approval at the building permit level.
11. Exhibit A 1st Revision shall be revised at the building permit level to
include the following:
a. Box planters at the building store fronts.
b. Fifteen (15) gallon size evergreen trees at 20 ft. intervals
along the north elevation of the subject building with
concurrence of the adjoining property owner to the north
and City staff. A temporary watering system for said
evergreen trees is permissible.
12. The Architectural and Site Approval Committee or its staff shall retain
authority to review on -site lighting intensity for exterior lighting
fixtures approved under this application and to require correction of
off -site lighting intrusion problems.
13. Final roof mounted equipment screening solution shall be subject to staff
review prior to issuance of building permits.
14. The material on the west elevation of the subject building shall be slumpstone
or brick subject to staff approval at the building permit level.
15. Prior to issuance of building permits, the applicant shall attempt in good

faith to effect cooperation with the controlling authority for Brunswick
Center to align a mutual pedestrian walkway between the two sites on the
west side, to fill in the soil areas between the two buildings as depicted
on Exhibit A 1st Revision, and to construct a gate as directed by
Resolution No. 1696 of the Planning Commission subject to approval of
City fire authorities and staff.
16. Additional landscaping shall be provided on the east property line within
the existing planter areas subject to staff approval at the building permit
level.
17. Prior to issuance of interior construction permits, the applicant shall
return to the Architectural and Site Approval Committee for review of a
comprehensive tenant sign program for this development.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of January, 1978, at the regular meeting of the
Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State of
California, by the following roll call vote:
