HomeMy WebLinkAboutASAC Reso 772HC -51,075. 152 RESOLUTION NO. 772 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF SITE AND ARCHITECTURE FOR PLACEMENT OF PORTABLE TOILET FACILITIES AND PLAY YARD FENCING FOR CONVERSION OF AN EXISTING INDUSTRIAL BUILDING TO USE AS A MONTESSORI PRE-SCHOOL. PROPERTY OWNER: Vallco Park, Ltd. APPLICANT: Vallco Park, Ltd. (Montessori School) ADDRESS: P.O. Drawer V, Cupertino, California 95014 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Adjacent to and southerly of Pruneridge Avenue approximately 1,100 ft. easterly of Wolfe Road -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FINDINGS: The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect to this application: 1. That the proposed portable facilities will have minimum visibility from public streets adjoining the proposed pre-school site, and are recognized as temporary in nature consistent with the use permit approved for the pre-school itself. 2. That the Committee recommends approval of this development predicated on assumption that the applicants will attempt a good faith effort to relocate a specimen conifer tree which will be displaced by installation of the western most portable facility. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL: 1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply. 9. That the recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibits A, B, and B-1 of this application except as may be amended by special conditions contained herein. 10. The existing conifer specimen which is within the proposed location for the western most facility shall be moved to an alternative location on the site subject to staff approval. 11.
