NOTICE 15 HEREBY GIVEN that that at its meet-

Applicant(s). Mary Elizabeth O'Connor (Rancho
San Antonio Retirement Housing Corp); Loca-
tion: 23500 Cristo Rey Drive; APNi# 342.54.999:
Description: Development Permit, Architectur-
al and Site Approval, and Tree Removal appli-
cations for The Forum at Rancho San Antonio,
a continuing care retirement community that
currently exists on a 51.5-acre site. The pro-
posed project includes renovations and addi-
tions to the existing facilities, as well as new
buildings resulting in 25 new independent liv-
ing villas, IQ new beds and 45,000 square feet
of renovations and additions to the skilled
nursing facility, 10,500 square feet of
renovations to the assisted living facility, 26
new beds in a 39,000-square-foot new memory
care building, and27,000 square feet of
renovations and additions to the commons fa-
cilities (dining, fitness and multi -purpose
room) and the removal and replacement of 25
trees to facilitate the renovations; Recom-
mend the approval of an Environmental Im-
pact Report. At its regular meeting of the
Cupertino Planning Commission on March 27
2018, the Commission recommended approval
of the proposed project per Resolution Nos.
6848, 6849 and 6850 with a 4-0-1 vote
(Takahashi absent). Council meets at 6:45 p.m.,
Council Chamber, Community Hall, 10350 Torre
Avenue, Cupertino, California. Interested par-
ties are invited to attend and be heard. If you
wish to challenge the City Council's action in
court, you may be limited to raising only those
issues you or someone else raised at the pub-
lic hearing described in this notice, or in writ-
ten correspondence delivered to the City of
Cupertino City Hail at, or prior to, the public
hearing. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please be ad-
vised that pursuant to Cupertino Municipal
Code 2.08.100 written communications Sent to
the Cupertino city Council, Commissioners or
City staff concerning a matter on the agenda
are included as supplemental material to the
agendized item. These written communica-
tions are accessible to the public through the
City's website and kept in packet archives. You
are hereby admonished nut to include any per-
