HomeMy WebLinkAboutASAC Reso 1335ASAC 51,754.1 RESOLUTION NO. 1335 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMNIITI'EE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO APPROVING SIGN PROGRAM FOR AN EXISTING MEDICAL FACILITY APPLICANT: Amcoe Sign Ccepany/Noel Marquis PROPERTY OWNER: Mark T. & Lorretta Congress APPLICANT'S ADDRESS: 960 San Antonio Avenue Palo Alto, CA 94303 PROJECT LOCATION: 20269 - 20289 Stevens Creek Boulevard The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with regard to this application: 1. The second wall sign is consistent with the intent of the Sign Ordinance as it increases the convenience of citizens and insures the public safety by allowing for ample identification. 2. The sign program is compatible with the building design. 3. The sign program will not distract motorists or pedestrians. CONDITIONS: 1-8) Standard Architectural and Site Approval Committee conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions listed herein. In the event of conflict, the specific conditions listed herein shall prevail. 9) Approval is based upon Exhibits F-1, F-2 and Staff Exhibit of Application 51,754.1 except as may be amended by conditions enumerated herein. 10) The new ground sign may be temporarily installed in the existing ground sign location. Prior to issuance of building permits, the applicant shall record a covenant running with the land agreeing to relocate the ground sign to the location shown on the Staff Exhibit at such as the City determines that the relocation is necessary because of street or streetscape improvements or an application for discretionary approval. The covenant shall be approved by staff prior to recordation.
