HomeMy WebLinkAboutASAC Reso 1327ASAC 51,746.1 RESOLUTION NO. 1327 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO APPROVING REMOVAL OF THREE TREES AT AN EXISTING SHOPPING CENTER APPLICANT: The Stoneson Development PROPERTY OWNER: The Stoneson Development APPLICANT'S ADDRESS: 21269 Stevens Creek Boulevard Cupertino, CA 95014 PROJECT LOCATION: 21269 Stevens Creek Boulevard FINDINGS: The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with regard to this application: 1. The tree removal is necessary because the trees are a safety danger to the public. CONDITIONS: 1-8) Standard Architectural and Site Approval Committee conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions listed herein. In the event of conflict, the specific conditions listed herein shall prevail. 9) Approval is based upon Exhibit A-1 of Application ASAC 51,746.1 except as may be amended by conditions enumerated herein. 10) The two ash trees shall be replaced with two 24 -inch box specimen Pyrus calleryana "Bradford". 11) The oak tree shall be replaced with a Quercus agrifolia of 24 -inch box specimen size, minimum. It is recognized that it may be necessary to allow one year to pass before planting the replacement tree for horticultural reasons. The applicant shall specifically document to staff why the time lapse is necessary.
