RESOIIJTION NO. 1320
OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO APPROVING A SIGN PROGRAM
FOR AN EXISTING RESTAURANT BUILDING
APPLICANT: Sports City Cafe

PROJECT LOCATION: North De Anza and Hwy 280
FINDINGS:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with regard
to this application:
1. The proposed ground sign is consistent with the sign exception granted
under ASAC Resolution 888.
2. The proposed sign program, as conditioned, is consistent with the
intent of the Sign Ordinance.
3. In approving the permanent identification flag, the Coirnnittee makes
the following findings:
a. The site's lack of direct street access warrants extra
identification
b. The flag is consistant with the intent of the Sign Ordianance by
facilitating ease in locating the facility
c. The flag design is consistant with the sports theme of the
restaurant.
CONDITIONS:
1-8) Standard Architectural and Site Approval Committee conditions to the
extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions listed
herein. In the event of conflict, the specific conditions listed
herein shall prevail.
9) Approval is based upon Exhibit L -1, L-2, F-1 and the Applicant's
letter dated 8/31/1987 of Application ASAC 51,739.1 except as may be
amended by conditions enumerated herein.
10) The directional sign described in the applicant's letter section 5.c
shall be a maximum of 4 square feet in size. The final sign design
shall be approved by staff prior to installation.
11) The proposed permanent identification flag is approved.
12) The flag sizes shall be consistent with the dimensional
specification contained within the Architectural Graphic Standards.

of the Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino,
