OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
A SIGN EXCEPTION FOR AN EXISTING CHURCH

FINDINGS:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with regard
to this application:
1. Views of the facility are obscured by landscaping which flanks the
site.
2. The size and appearance of the structure is low and unobstructive
which compounds difficulty in identification.
3. The ground sign will facilitate citizen convenience and traffic safety
by providing identification visible to motorists.
4. The sign is consistent with the intent of the Sign Ordinance.
CONDITIONS:
1-8) Standard Architectural and Site Approval Committee Conditions to the
extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions listed
herein. In the event of conflict, the specific conditions listed
herein shall prevail.
9) The approval is based upon Exhibits A-1 and F-1 of Application ASAC
51,731.1 except as may be amended by conditions contained herein.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of August, 1987 at a regular meeting of
the Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino,
State of California, by the following roll call vote:
