RESOLUTION NO. 1298
OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMNBTTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
A NEW GROUND SIGN FOR AN EXISTING SERVICE STATION

FINDINGS:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with regard
to this application:
1. The proposed sign as conditioned complies with the intent of Ordinance
746 provisions pertaining to service stations.
CONDITIONS:
1-8) Standard Architectural and Site Approval Committee Conditions to the
extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions listed
herein. In the event of conflict, the specific conditions listed
herein shall prevail.
9) The approval is based upon Exhibit F-1 1st Revision of Application
ASAC 51,722.1 except as amended by conditions enumerated herein.
10) Compliance with Stevens Creek Boulevard Landscaping Guidelines
provisions pertaining to location of signs is deferred. The
applicant shall submit an agreement to staff acknowledging the
deferral and agreeing to relocate the sign in conformance with City
standards prior to commencement of street improvements along the
subject site. The proposed location shall be approved by ASAC prior
to issuance of sign permits.
11) The "Open 24 Hours" copy shall be deleted until such time as a Use
Permit is approved by the City Council for 24 operation of the
station.
12) All signage inconsistent this approval shall be removed prior to
issuance of building permits for the sign. Temporary signage shall
be removed unless the applicant applies for and is granted a
Temporary Sign Permit.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of July, 1987 at a regular meeting of the
Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State
of California, by the following roll call vote:
