HomeMy WebLinkAboutASAC Reso 1295ASAC 51,015.211 RESOLUTION No. 1295 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERI'INO APPROVING AN AMENEI1ENT TO THE EXISTING SIGN PROGRAM FOR THE CROSSROADS CENTER WESTERLY OF THE MERVYN'S TENANT. PROPERTY OWNER: Byer Properties APPLICANT: Cal Neon Sign Co. ADDRESS: 1577 Almaden Avenue, San Jose, CA. 95125 SITE LOCATION: South side of Stevens Creek Blvd., westerly of and adjacent to the existing "Mervyn's" retail store. The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with regard to this application: 1. The proposed sign program amendment is necessary to enhance public convenience in locating a tenant space with minimal visibility to a public street, consistent with the objectives of the Sign Ordinance. CONDITIONS: 1-8) Standard Architectural and Site Approval Committee Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions listed herein. In the event of conflict, the specific conditions listed herein shall prevail. 9) The approval is based upon Exhibits F-1 and F-2 of Application ASAC 51,015.211 except as amended by conditions contained herein. 10) The approved "Denevi Camera" sign depicted on Exhibit F-1 shall be reduced to a maximum face area of 35 sq. ft. Said sign shall be used only by Denevi Camera, and shall not be transferrable to another tenant. Said sign shall be removed within 30 days of vacation by Denevi Camera of the tenant space. All other tenants affected by Condition 13 of Resolution 1049 shall be subject to sign program limitations specified in said Resolution. 11) All existing "Athletic Shoe Factory" under -canopy signs shall be removed prior to installation of signs approved under Exhibit F-2 of this application. 12) All provisions of Resolution 1049 not explicitly amended in this Resolution shall remain in full force and effect.
