RESOUJTION No. 1294
OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO APPROVING A SIGN PROGRAM
FOR A COMMERCIAL CENTER
PROPERTY OWNER: De Anza Properties
APPLICANT: Cal Neon Sign Co.
ADDRESS: 1577 Almaden Avenue, San Jose, CA. 95125
SITE LOCATION: North side of Stevens Creek Blvd., easterly of De
Anza Blvd.
FINDINGS:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with regard
to this application:
1. The proposed tenant wall sign portion of the sign program, as amended
by the conditions contained herein, is consistent with the provisions
of the Sign Code for corrnnercial facilities.
CONDITIONS:
1-8) Standard Architectural and Site Approval Committee Conditions to the
extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions listed
herein. In the event of conflict, the specific conditions listed
herein shall prevail.
9) The approval is based upon Exhibit F-1 of Application ASAC 51,726.1
except as amended by conditions contained herein.
10) The freestanding sign portion of the sign program, as indicated on
Exhibit F -1, is not approved, and shall be subject to redesign.
11) Wall sign displays shall be subject to the limitations specified in
notes 1 through 9 on Exhibit F-i, with the following additional
constraints:
A) Sign area per tenant limited to 1 sq. ft./l linear foot of tenant
frontage.
B) Each retail tenant shall be limited to one wall mounted display
C) Signs shall be placed at a uniform 2'-3" space between bottom of
sign letters and edge of mounting area plane.
D) Typography shall be limited to block -style letter faces; script
or cursive styles may be allowedby informal ASAC approval only.
E) The approved colors are as follows:
Red 205-0, 209-0
Rust 262-0
Orange 303-0
Yellow 407-2, 424-3, 406-1
12) Signage is limited to first floor retail tenants

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of July, 1987 at a regular meeting of the
Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State
of California, by the following roll call vote:
