The applicants stated that they were willing to delete the Egg Roll Fantasy initials from the

on the awning sample was much too bright. The consensus of the Committee was to require
dark green awnings. The Committee felt that two awning signs were reasonable.

DISCUSSION:
Applicants described the signage proposed for the site. They asked the Committee to
approve the restaurant flags as they are consistent with the sports theme of the business.
The applicants clarified that the sign background is opaque.
Member Jackson expressed concern regarding the visibility of the satellite dish. In response
to Member Member Jackson's question, staff stated that the dish will be screened by existing
trees. Staff felt that the proposed location is preferable to placing the dish in the parking lot or
on the roof. Member Jackson expressed support for approving the flag. Member Nobel was
concerned about the precedent of approving a permanent flag. Staff suggested that the
Committee make specific findings if the flag were approved.
BY UNANIMOUS VOTE, THE COMMITTEE APPROVED APPLICATION ASAC 51,739.1
