I am a citizen of the United States. I am over the age of eighteen
years and I am not a party to or interested in the above entitled
matter. I am the Legal Advertising Clerk of the printer and
publisher of the Cupertino Courier, a newspaper published in the
English language in the City of Cupertino, County of Santa Clara,
State of California.
I declare that the Cupertino Courier is a newspaper of general
circulation as defined by the laws of the State of California as
determined by court decree dated November 13, 1956, Case
Number 100637. Said decree states that the Cupertino Courier is
adjudged to be a newspaper of general circulation for the City of
Cupertino, County of Santa Clara and State of California. Said
order has not been revoked.

FIRST READING ORDINANCE NO.17-2162
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at its meeting of
Tuesday, April 18, 2017, the Cupertino City
Council conducted the first reading of Ordi-
nance No. 17-2162 "An Ordinance of the City
Council of the City of Cupertino amending Title
19, Zoning, of the Cupertino Municipal Code
Chapter 19.12 (Administration), Chapter 19.20
(Permitted, Conditional and Excluded Uses in
Agricultural and Residential Zones), and Chap-
ter 19.28 (Single -Family Residential R-1)
Zones), to create a Single -Story Overlay Dis-
trict process". Ayes: Vaidhyanathan, Paul,
Scharf, and Sinks Noes: Chang. Abstain: None.
Absent: None. The second reading is sched-
uled for Tuesday, May 2, 2017. Council meets at
6:45 p.m., Council Chamber, Cupertino Com-
munity Hall, 10350 Torre Avenue, Cupertino,
California. Complete copies are posted in the
Office of the City Clerk. All interested parties
are invited to attend and be heard. If you wish
to challenge the action of the City Council in
court, you may be limited to raising only those
issues you or someone else raised at the pub-
lic hearing described in this notice, or in writ-
ten correspondence delivered to the City of
Cupertino City Hall at, or prior to, the public
hearing.
