I am a citizen of the United States. I am over the age of eighteen
years and I am not a party to or interested in the above entitled
matter. I am the Legal Advertising Clerk of the printer and
publisher of the Cupertino Courier, a newspaper published in the
English language in the City of Cupertino, County of Santa Clara,
State of California.
I declare that the Cupertino Courier is a newspaper of general
circulation as defined by the laws of the State of California as
determined by court decree dated November 13, 1956, Case
Number 100637. Said decree states that the Cupertino Courier is
adjudged to be a newspaper of general circulation for the City of
Cupertino, County of Santa Clara and State of California. Said
order has not been revoked.

GPAAUTH-2017.01, GPAAUTH-2017-02,
AND GPAAUTH-2017-03
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at its meeting on
Tuesday, August 1, 2017 the Cupertino City
Council will conduct a public hearing to con-
sider the following General Plan Amendment
Authorizations:
Cupertino Hotel (Goodyear Tires)
GPAAuth-2017-01
(10931 N. De Anza Boulevard) Demolition of a
commercial building (Goodyear Tires) to de.
velop a new, 156-room hotel.
Westport Cupertino (Oaks Shopping Center)
GPAAuth-2017.02
(21267 Stevens Creek Boulevard) Two mixed -
use alternatives proposed to replace an exist-
ing retail shopping center.
Cupertino Village Boutique Hotel
GPAAuth-2017-03
(10773 N. Wolfe Road)
Demolition of two retail buildings located in
the Cupertino Village Shopping Center to de-
velop a new full -service boutique hotel with
185 rooms.
The City Council will review 2017 Second Cycle
proposals and decide which are authorized to
submit their applications. Authorization does
not guarantee approval of the projects. Au-
thorization directs staff to review the submit-
ted application, including project and environ-
mental review, and public outreach. To view

The City Council will hear the proposed GPA
amendment authorizations on Tuesday,
August 1, 2017 at 6:45 p.m. in the Cupertino
Community Hall 10350 Torre Avenue (next to
the library). The agenda for the application
will be available on the Friday preceding the
meeting. If you have any questions, please

agenda may be subject to change. Please call
to verify that the item is still on the agenda. In-
terested parties are invited to attend and be
heard. If you wish to challenge the City Counci-

notice, or in written correspondence delivered
to the City of Cupertino City Hall at, or prior to,
the public hearing.
