I am a citizen of the United States. I am over the age of eighteen
years and I am not a party to or interested in the above entitled
matter. I am the Legal Advertising Clerk of the printer and
publisher of the Cupertino Courier, a newspaper published in the
English language in the City of Cupertino, County of Santa Clara,
State of California.
I declare that the Cupertino Courier is a newspaper of general
circulation as defined by the laws of the State of California as
determined by court decree dated November 13, 1956, Case
Number 100637. Said decree states that the Cupertino Courier is
adjudged to be a newspaper of general circulation for the City of
Cupertino, County of Santa Clara and State of California. Said
order has not been revoked.
I declare that the notice, of which the annexed is a printed copy,

2017 FIRST CYCLE PROPOSAL; GENERAL PLAN
AMENDMENT AUTHORIZATIONS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at its meeting of
Tuesday, February 21, 2017, the Cupertino City
Council will hold a public hearing to consider a
Proposal for development that include General
Plan amendments. The Council will decide
whether or not the applicant may submit an
application for a General Plan amendment. Au-
thorization does not guarantee approval of the
projects. Authorization directs staff to review
the submitted application, including project,
environmental review and public outreach. Ap-
plication No.(s): GPAAuth-2017-01; Applicant:
Keith Fichtner (KingsmilI Group); Location:
19900 Stevens Creek Boulevard (Scandinavian
Design) APN: 369-05-038 General Plan Authori-
zation to request 16,000 SF of office allocation
within the Heart of the City Special Area to al-
low the conversion of an existing 26,239 SF re-
tail space and 1,790 SF outdoor covered arcade
area into office space. Council will meet at 6:45
p.m., Community Hall Council Chamber, 10350
Torre Avenue, Cupertino, California. Complete
copies of the primary and secondary codes, if
any, being considered for adoption, are on file
with the Office of the City Clerk, and are open
to public inspection. Interested parties are in-
vited to attend and be heard. If you wish to
challenge the City Council's action in court,
you may be limited to raising only those issues
you or someone else raised at the public hear-
ing described in this notice, or in written corre-
spondence delivered to the City of Cupertino
City Hall at, or prior to, the public hearing.
