OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
MODIFICATION OF SITE AND LIGHTING FOR BICYCLE AND
PEDESTRIAN CIRCULATION ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF MARIANI
AVENUE EAST OF DE ANZA BOULEVARD, AND THE EASTERLY
TERMINUS OF MARIANI AVENUE, AND THE WESTERLY TERMINUS
OF MERRITT DRIVE AS SHOWN ON EXHIBITS C-6 2ND REVISION
AND C-7 2ND REVISION.

. CONDITIONS:
1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions.
8. Staff shall determine the minimum shoulder area required for bicycle paths.
It is the preference of this Committee thatpaved shoulder areas on the
interconnecting bicycle path between the easterly terminus of Mariani
Avenue and the existing sanitary district manhole be eliminated. Further,
the Committee suggests that, if legally permissible that bollards be
placed in the paved shoulders of the interconnecting bicycle path between
the existing sanitary district manhole and the easterly terminus of
Merritt Drive.
9. That the proposed oak trees delineated on Exhibit C-7 2nd Revision shall
be located in such a way as to allow a minimum 8 ft. overhead clearance above
any portion of the interconnecting bicycle path.

of the Architectural and Site Approval Committee of. the City of Cupertino,
State of California, by the following roll call vote:
