OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
LANDSCAPING FOR THE PARKWAY AREA ON THE EAST SIDE
OF NORTH DE ANZA BOULEVARD AS SHOWN ON EXHIBITS

CONDITIONS:
1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions.
8. Selection and location of tree specie within the parkway area shall
conform to those recommendations of James Coleman and Associates as
contained in their letter to City staff dated November 15, 1976.
9. "Container size" of all redwood and alder species in the parkway
area shall be mixed at a ratio of two-thirds at fifteen g. c. to
one-third at five g. c. at time of installation.
10. The sidewalk shall be a minimum of five feet in width. The sidewalk
surface finish for the east side of the North De Anza Boulevard parkway
area shall be as detailed on Exhibit Informational -3 of Application
HC -51,392.1.
11. Installation of lawn area on east side of North De Anza Boulevard parkway
area shall utilize a uniform seed mixture or sod type to ensure
coordination of color, texture and growth habit.
12. Installation on the east side of North De Anza Boulevard parkway area
of irrigation system components shall be standardized as to manufacturer
and type so as to minimize maintenance cost by simplifying spare part
inventory and repair procedures.
ADDITIONAL FINDINGS:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee recommends that procedures for the
construction of the North De Anza Boulevard parkway area include field inspection
by a landscape architect of all plantings prior to their acceptance and
installation. Such inspection is intended to ensure that plantings of the
parkway area are of high quality and good health, as detailed in Section 3.7.1
of the Landscaping Guidelines of the North De Anza Boulevard Conceptual Plan.
