HomeMy WebLinkAboutASAC Reso 857HC -51,410.4 RESOLUTION NO. 857 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF SITE, ARCHITECTURE AND LANDSCAPING FOR A SINGLE -STORY INDUSTRIAL BUILDING. PROPERTY OWNER: Joseph F. Brown APPLICANT: Carl Holvick Co. ADDRESS: 845 Page Mill Road, Palo Alto, California 94304 PROPERTY LOCATION: West side of Bandley Drive north of Lazaneo Drive. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FINDINGS: The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect to this application: 1. That the proposed building configuration and site concept is consistent with use permit approval granted under Planning Commission Resolution No. 1865. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL: 1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply. 9. The recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibits A 1st Revision, B, B-1, and C 1st Revision of this application except as may be amended by special conditions contained herein. 10. Prior to staff approval of construction details for a required sound barrier to be located along the western boundary line of subject site, the applicant shall submit the written concurrence of Edward L. Pack if desiring to utilize recommendations as specified in the February 25, 1977 acoustical report prepared for the western boundary of the adjoining southerly site. Appearance of wall approved under this application shall match the adjoining wall. 11. Subject to staff approval, the final site plan submitted at the building permit level shall indicate the installment location of one secured bicycle locking facility for every 6,500 sq. ft. of building area, as per Planning Commission Resolution No. 1865, Condition 21. 12. The final site plan shall be modified to reflect City Standard of 16.5 ft. parking stall length when used in conjunction with 1.5 ft. bumper overhang areas. 13. Pedestrian linkage shall be provided on the final site plan between the major eastern entrances of the building, subject to staff approval. -1- I1C-51, 410.4 RESOLUTION NO. 857 (continued) 14. Proposed retaining wall details and precise location shall be specified on the final site plan submitted at the building permit level. Said retaining wall shall be approved following a staff determination that no adverse effects will be caused with respect to implementation of reciprocal ingress/egress requirements as per Planning Commission Resolution No. 1865, Condition 20. 15. Eucalyptus Micholi depicted on the conceptual landscape plan shall be modified to reflect a 15 gallon size. 16. Signing and lighting are not a part of this application and are continued to a date uncertain. 17. Final landscape plan shall specify the precise number, size and location of all planting materials, subject to staff approval.
