OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
SITE, ARCHITECTURE AND LANDSCAPING FOR REMODEL OF
AN EXISTING SERVICE STATION SITE. (MOTION TO
RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF SUBJECT APPLICATION DENIED
ON A TIE VOTE).

FINDINGS:
1. Two members of the Committee who voted against approval of the subject
application did not wish to finalize site layout of the proposed service
station remodeling until such time as a solution to locate
County Transit District metal frame shelter can be devised between the
service station site and the property to the north.
SUGGESTED CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that
they do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein.
In the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated
herein shall apply.
9. That the recommendation of approval is based on Exhibits A 1st Revision,
B, C and F 1st Revision of this application except as may be amended
by special conditions contained herein.
10. Exhibit A 1st Revision shall be revised at the building permit level
as follows:
A. Width of the street frontage planter strip shall be increased
by 5 ft. through reduction in width of the existing public
sidewalk adjacent thereto, to the satisfaction of the
Director of Public Works.
11. The lighting portion of the application is continued to a date uncertain.
12. Exhibit C shall be revised at the building permit level to reflect
compliance with suggestions contained in Section II C of the development
staff report of August 30, 1978.
13. Prior to issuance of permits for construction of the sign approved
under Exhibit F 1st Revision of this application, color samples of the
proposed materials shall be reviewed and approved informally by the
AS AC.
14. Bus -stop furniture, including a metal frame shelter, may be placed within
the landscape street frontage of the subject service station, subject to
approval of the Director of Public Works and the Santa Clara County Transit
District.

of the Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino,
