HomeMy WebLinkAboutASAC Reso 635HC -51,387.1 RESOLUTION NO. 635 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF SITE, ARCHITECTURE, LANDSCAPING AND GRADING FOR THREE DUPLEX UNITS AS INDICATED ON EXHIBITS A 1st REVISION, B 1st REVISION AND C 1st REVISION. PROPERTY OWNER: Salesian Society (R. V. Jones - Agent) APPLICANT: Kenneth P. Elvin, A.I.A. ADDRESS: 999 Commercial Street, Suite 207, Palo Alto, California 94036 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Silver Oak Court west of Foothill Blvd. CONDITIONS: 1-7. Standard Architectural and Site Approval Committee Conditions. 8. Applicant shall submit to staff a documented proposal showing means by which native trees on site would be protected during construction. 9. Optional second story on Lot A units is not approved under this application. 10. Landscaping on north wall is subject to staff review following revision of driveway alignment. 11. Roof material shall be Class A fiberglass composition material, color subject to staff approval. 12. Sound wall facing Foothill Blvd. shall be constructed with a landscaped pocket at each corner and in the center with final design configuration and selection of planting materials subject to staff approval. 13. The applicant shall install low profile lamps along the northerly edge of the major driveway, the number and size of such lamps subject to staff approval. 14. A road maintenance agreement among all property owners shall include sharing of landscape maintenance responsibility for the planting on the Foothill Blvd. side of the sound wall as well as the planter area and lighting fixtures on the northern side of the major driveway. 15. Final location and orientation of dwelling units on Lot A shall be as delineated on Exhibit A 1st Revision subject to staff approval. 16. The architecture of all buildings shall include approximately 2 ft. of roof overhang subject to staff approval. _ 17. Garage doors for all dwelling units in the project will be designed in such a way as not to protrude into any outside parking areas. 18. All revisions to this application as suggested by this Committee shall be examined for substantial compliance by staff prior to presentation of this application for consideration by the City Council.
