OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL CO121ITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOENDING APPROVAL OF
A SIGN PROGRAM AND EXCEPTION TO THE SIGN ORDINANCE
TO ALLOW A SINGLE GROUND SIGN FOR TWO LOTS HOLDING
LESS THAN THE REQUIRED FRONTAGE ON A PUBLIC STREET
FOR AN EXISTING INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX AS INDICATED ON
EXHIBIT F.
PROPERTY OWNER: Syntex Corporation
APPLICANT: Diamond Signs, Inc.
ADDRESS: 757 Commercial Street, San Jose, California 95112
LOCATION OF PROPERTY: West Valley Industrial Park on the east and west
side of Bubb Road approximately 200 ft. southerly of
Stevens Creek Boulevard
ZONE: ML (Light Industrial)
CONDITIONS:
1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions.
8. That the single ground sign approved as an exception to the sign
ordinance for the east side of Bubb Road is limited to 66 inches
in width and 18 inches in height and is to be of the same general
design and color as indicated on Exhibit F subject to staff approval.
9. That the building mounted sign consisting of individual wooden letters
affixed to Building No. 1 of this complex is to remain.
10. That all existing signs on the site remaining from previous tenancy are
to be removed by the applicant.
11. That the sign exception is granted to this tenant only, and that all signs
installed by him shall be removed at such time as Syntex Corporation
ceases to occupy the site.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May, 1976, at a regular meeting of the
Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State of
California, by the following roll call vote:
