SUBJECT: SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT ACTION LETTER – Application SE-2025-014 (Tessellations
International Festival)
Thank you for your interest in holding a special event on your property. Additional
information/redline changes are required. Any changes to the drawings or calculations require a delta-
revision cloud bubble around the changes and a date stamp indicating when the changes were made.
Please provide a written response clearly addressing each item and indicate where items are located on
the plan set. Re-submittal without a response letter will be considered incomplete
1. Provide a Draft Copy of Notice of Event: Per the requirement below in Condition of Approval
#9 in Tessellations' Use Permit U-2023-002, you will need to send out a letter notice to adjacent
properties via first class mail notifying them of the event and containing the information in the
description below. Please send the letter to the attached mailing list, but first please send me a draft
of this letter. The letter must be emailed to your mail list of interested neighbors and posted on your
website at least 7 days before the event. Please also provide a link to the Tessellations webpage
where the event will be posted online.

2. No County Health Permit Required for Closed Events: If any food service is proposed, a County
Health Permit is only required if your event will be open to the general public (tickets sold online or
at the event entry to the general public). If food service will be limited to Tessellations students and
their families, then it is considered a closed event, and no County Health Permit is required. Please
confirm that this is a closed event limited to Tessellations students and their families.
