At the 5/17/2023 meeting, the Bicycle Pedestrian Commission recommended that City staff work with the Cupertino Rotary on a bike rack partnership in order to facilitate installation of the bike racks near the front entrances to private businesses. Further, the idea of artistic bicycle racks was of interest, and the commission created a subcommittee to aid staff in implementation of the project and the artistic rack concept. Going forward, staff is exploring adding standard U- shaped bike racks in coordination with the Bicycle Pedestrian Commission, which will close out this City Work Program project.
