Melissa Robertson, Administrative Assistant, declares as follows:
• That she is a citizen of the United States, over the age of 18 years, and that at all
times herein mentioned was an employee / agent of the City of Cupertino.
• That on February 20, 2024 she deposited in the United States Post Office, California,
a Notice of Public Hearing, a copy of which is attached hereto.
• That said mailing list has been provided by the Santa Clara County Department of
Agriculture .and lists the owners of property who are entitled to Notice of Hearing.
• That on said day, there was a regular communication by Unites States mail between
Cupertino, California and the addresses shown on the attached mailing list.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Cupertino will conduct a public
hearing on the matter described below in the Council Chamber in the Community Hall,
City of Cupertino, 10350 Torre Avenue and via teleconference.

DESCRIPTION: An appeal of the Planning Commission's decision to approve a sign
Exception to allow two wall signs for a single tenant (Shane Co) at
an existing retail building (Application No(s): EXC-2022-004;

The Planning Commission conducted a public hearing at its regular
meeting on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 and approved with
modifications, one unlighted wall sign as a sign exception on the
east facade at location 2, with a 4-1 vote (Ayes: Scharf,
Madhdhipatla, Fung and Lindskog. Noes: None. Abstain: None.
Absent: Mistry).
HEARING DATE: Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 6:45 p.m.
ADDRESS: Council Chamber in the Community Hall, City of Cupertino, 10350
Torre Avenue and via teleconference.
