Any changes to the drawings or calculations require a delta-revision cloud bubble around the changes and a date stamp indicating when the changes were made. Please provide a written response clearly addressing each item and indicate where items are located on the plan set. Re-submittal without a response letter will be considered incomplete 1. Previous Comment Not Addressed: Written Description of Event: Please include in your description all activities, performers, musicians, food service and alcohol service that is planned. Provide your schedule of performers listing the type of performer and their time slot. RESPONSE______________________________________________________________________ 2. Previous Comment Not Addressed: Provide a Traffic Flow Plan: You can use a Google Maps satellite image, if that is easiest, or any other plan that shows the street. On the plan, show how traffic will circulate through the site once it enters from the driveways on Vallco Parkway or Steven’s Creek Boulevard. Depict any drop off or loading areas for vendors to temporarily park to set up their booths. Show the points where closures of the Main Street Cupertino streets or driveways will occur. The written description you provided and the site plan is not sufficient and instead we need a plan showing traffic circulation. Please draw on the site plan that you provided arrows showing the one-way circulation route in your description. Show how cars will circulate during the event through Main Street Cupertino. Draw dots on the plan showing where traffic cones will be set up and label which streets will be closed. Draw a box around the vendor loading and drop off zones near the Garage (19500 Vallco) and main retail side. Label which driveways will be closed. Show the locations of any individuals who will be directing traffic and provide the hours that they will be stationed in those locations. Previous Comment Not Addressed: Shift Portable Toilet Location: Is this portable toilet located within a lane of traffic? If so, please shift it and the liquid trash container so it is within the event area. The portable toilet should not exit into a lane of traffic. RESPONSE______________________________________________________________________ 4. Previous Comment Not Addressed: Cupertino Business License Required for Each Vendor at the Event and Any Performers: Every vendor at the event must obtain a Cupertino Temporary Event Business License (required for any entity earning money within the City limits). The fee for the temporary event business license is currently $13.32 for each vendor if paid with a credit card or $12.88 for each vendor if paid with a check. Please have one person come in and pay for all of the Business Licenses at once. Please contact the Business License Division directly to coordinate the submittal of these permits at (408) 777-3221 or bl@cupertino.gov. Staff will need to wait to issue your permit until all 34 vendors have submitted business licenses. RESPONSE______________________________________________________________________ 5. Previous Comment Not Addressed: Submit the Product Information and Anchoring Method for All Tents: Please provide the product information for each of the different tents. You only provided a written description, but we need the product information cutsheet. Label on your plans the anchoring method for each individual tent (different tent sizes may need different weights to anchor them and we need this information to check each one). Page 3 RESPONSE______________________________________________________________________ 6. Previous Comment Not Addressed: Will Alcohol be Served? Please confirm whether alcohol will be served at this event. If so, please provide a One-Day Alcohol Beverage Control Permit by contacting the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control at (916) 419-2500 to obtain the license for the event. RESPONSE______________________________________________________________________ 7. Previous Comment Not Addressed: Provide Evidence that Each Food Vendor or Any Entity Serving Food Has Applied for a County Health Permit: Thank you for confirming that you have submitted a Temporary Food Facility Permit from the Santa Clara County Health Department. Please provide a copy of the final, issued Temporary Food Facility Permit for all nine food vendors once the County has issued their permit. Any food vendor that does not provide one will not be able to serve food at the event. RESPONSE______________________________________________________________________ 8. Previouse Comment Not Addressed: Depict Number of Tables and Chairs on your Booth Map: Depict on your booth map that there will be 8 tables with 40 chairs. A written description is not sufficient because we need to see exactly where it will be located and how closely spaced they are. RESPONSE______________________________________________________________________ 9. If No Stage Will be Constructed Delete it from Your Booth Map: Your booth map depicts that a stage will be constructed. If no stage will be proposed, then revise your booth map and delete this label.
