OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL CO 2IITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECO11MENDING APPROVAL
OF ARCHITECTURE FOR REMODEL OF ROOFLINE FOR AN
EXISTING APARTMENT COMPLEX.

LOCATION OF PROPERTY: South side of Homestead Road approximately 500 ft.
east of Stelling Road
FINDINGS:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect
to this application:
1) That the proposed remodel is generally consistent with development
standards for multiple -family construction specified in the R3 zone.
2) That the proposed increase in roof height will not inhibit view
corridors or solar access for adjoining parcels.
3) That deletion of Standard Condition No. 5 is recommended due to
the relatively minor scope of the inprovements contemplated in
the application.
CONDITIONS:
- Architectural and Site Approval Standard Condition Nos. 1, 2, 3,
4, 6, and 7 to the extent that they do not conflict with the special
conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does exist,
the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply.
- The recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibit A-1 and.B--1
of Application HC -51,586.1, except as may be amended by special
conditions contained herein.
- Exhibit B-1 of Application HC -51,586.1 shall be modified to include
roof overhangs of two (2) - three (3) ft. in width on all elevations,
and use of textured plywood treatment for the end -wall cables.
Composition shake material, dark brown in color, shall be used in
place of wood shakes.
- Two gated trash enclosures in materials compatible with those currently
in use on the site shall be provided.
- Five (5) fifteen gallon minimum size trees shall be installed on
the site's east perimeter. Selection and location thereof as
approved by staff during building permit review.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of September, 1983, at a regular meeting
of the Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino,
State of California, by the following roll call vote:
