OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOI1u ,LADING APPROVAL OF SITE
AND ARCHITECTURE FOR REMODEL OF AN EXISTING INDUSTRIAL
BUILDING.
PROPERTY OWNER: Four Phase Systems, Inc.
APPLICANT: Design Professionals, Inc.
ADDRESS: 1530 Meridian Avenue, San Jose, California 55125
LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Southeast quadrant, De Anza Boulevard and Interstate
Route 280.
FINDING:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect to this
application:
1. That the proposed redevelopment of this site, as amended by Conditions of
Approval contained herein, is in conformance with City of Cupertino ordinances
and General Plan provisions.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they
do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the
event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein
shall apply.
8. The recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibits A -I, B-1 and C-1
of Application HC -51,392.4 except as may be amended by special conditions
contained herein.
9. Interior noise attenuation recommendations cited on Pages 4 through 6
inclusive of the acoustical report dated August 11, 1983 by Edward L.
Pack Associates shall be implemented.
10. Construction activity required to implement the approved remodel shall be
conducted in accordance with Section 10.48.053 of the Cupertino Municipal
Code.
11. Truck movements, operation of the roll -up door depicted on Exhibit C-1 and
placement of trash in the dumpsters shall be restricted to those hours
specified in Section 10.48.062 of the Cupertino Municipal Code, and Amended
Condition 33 of Planning Commission Resolution 1568.
12. The roll -up door and building --exit man -doors shown on Exhibit C-1 shall be
kept closed at all times during which the compactor machinery is operating.
13. Operation of the compactor will be permitted during the hours of 8 p.m. to
3 a.m. only so _.long as the compactor cannot be heard on the adjoining
residential property.

14. That all outside operations including cleaning the parking lot, putting
trash in the dumpsters, and the loading and unloading of the dumpsters
for trash removal from the Four -Phase property be permitted only during
the 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. period.
15. The applicant shall work with the project architect, acoustical consultant
and Los Altos Garbage Company to implement a feasible solution for control
of noise impacts resulting from dumpster exchange operations.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of August, 1983, at the regular meeting of
the Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State
of California, by the following roll call vote:
