HomeMy WebLinkAboutASAC Reso 1062HC -51,578.1 RESOLUTION NO. 1062 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF SITE, ARCHITECTURE, LANDSCAPING, LIGHTING AND SIGNING FOR REMODEL AND NEW CONSTRUCTION OF AN EXISTING INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY. PROPERTY OWNER: Mr. and Mrs. J. Michael Lynch APPLICANT: Ellis L. Jacobs, Architect ADDRESS: 437 Cambridge, Palo Alto, California 94306 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Northeast corner of Imperial Avenue and Olive Avenue. FINDINGS: The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with regard to this application: 1. That the proposal is consistent with provisions of Light Industrial Zoning Ordinance. 2. That the proposal is consistent with the land use Intensity Performance Standards specified in the General Plan as amended. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL: 1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply. 8. The recommedation of approval is based upon Exhibits A -1 2nd Revision, B-1 1st Revision and B-2 2nd Revision of this application except as may be amended by special conditions contained herein. 9. Approval of this application authorizes a total of 6,300 sq. ft. of gross floor area on the subject site and provision of not less than fourteen (14) parking spaces. 10. A specific planting and irrigation plan, detailing quantity and placement of plant materials and irrigation equipment shall be present po for informal concurrence of the ASAC prior to release of building permits. 11. Lighting specifications. and signing material/color details shall be furnished for staff approval concurrent with application for construction permits. 12. Outdoor storage of materials and supplies shall not project above the height of the wall on the westerly frontage of the site. 13. While the ASAC encourages the property owner to retain the specimen Cottonwood tree on the west side of the property, removal shall be left to the owner's discretion. A tree replacement plan shall be approved by the Planning Director prior to removal of the tree. RESOLUTION NO. 1062 (continued) HC -51,578.1 14. No portion of any structure authorized under this resolution shall overhang or otherwise extend into any adjacent parcel. 15. Bollards or similar devices shall be placed on the south side of the handicapped parking stall to protect vechicles parked therein from backing movements from stalls 11 and 12. 16. Placement of stall 14 may be revised if so required to comply with fire exiting standards specified by the Central Fire Protection District.
