RESOLUTION NO. 1050
OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
AN EXCEPTION TO SECTION 6.03.1 OF SIGN ORDINANCE
NO. 746 TO ALLOW MERVYN'S A THIRD BUILDING -MOUNTED
SIGN.
PROPERTY OWNER: Byer Properties
APPLICANT: Gene Barbour/Ad-Art Electrical Products Corporation
ADDRESS: 1607 Terminal Avenue, San Jose, CA 95112
LOCATION OF PROPERTY: South side of Stevens Creek Boulevard approximately 600 ft. west
of De Anza Boulevard (Mervyn's half of Crossroads Center).

FINDINGS:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect to this
application:
1. The proposed sign is consistent with the criteria established in the new sign
program for the Crossroads Center.
2. The sign's small size (10 sq. ft.) will prevent it from cluttering the fascia.
3. The sign will not have any adverse aesthetic impacts.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they
do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event
a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply.
8. The recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibit B-2 of this application
except as may be amended by special conditions contained herein.
9. The approved sign shall not exceed 1 ft. in height and 10 ft. in length.

PASSED AND ADOTPED this 9th day of May, 1983, at a regular meeting of the Architectural
and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State of California, by the
following roll call vote:
