HomeMy WebLinkAboutASAC Reso 1047HC -51,583.1 RESOLUTION NO. 1047 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN EXCEPTION TO ALLOW A SECOND GROUND SIGN ON A PROPERTY LIMITED TO ONE GROUND SIGN PER SECTION 6.05.4 OF SIGN ORDINANCE NO. 746. PROPERTY OWNER: Chrytino, Inc. c/o Eastdil Advisers, Inc. APPLICANT: Tandem Computers Incorporated ADDRESS: 19333 Vallco Parkway, Cupertino, CA 95014 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: South side of Pruneridge Avenue, north of Freeway 280, approximately 475 ft. west of Tantau Avenue. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FINDINGS: The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect to this application: 1. The subject ground sign is necessary to identify the main entry to the subject site. 2. The subject ground sign is not oriented to a public right-of-way. 3. The subject site is extremely large, with 385 ft. of frontage on the public right-of-way and 600 ft. of frontage on the private street to which the subject sign shall be oriented. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL: 1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions enumerated herein shall apply. 8.
