HomeMy WebLinkAboutASAC Reso 0998HC -51,564.0 RESOLUTION NO. 998 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A SIGN PROGRAM AND AN EXCEPTION TO SECTION 6.03.1 OF SIGN ORDINANCE NO. 746 TO ALLOW TWO SIGNS PER BUSINESS. PROPERTY OWNER: Dean Frisbie APPLICANT: H & R Block, Incorporated ADDRESS: 4984 Stevens Creek Boulevard, San Jose, California 95129 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: 20021 Stevens Creek Boulevard, Cupertino, California 95014 FINDINGS: The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect to this application. 1. The Sign Program is consistent with all provisions of Sign Ordinance No. 746 except Section 6.03.1. 2. The requested exception is justified due to the lack of a good location for a sign on the building's Stevens Creek Boulevard frontage and due to the obstruction of the front of the building by a mature tree. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL: 1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply. 8. The recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibits F 1st Revision and F-1 of Application HC -51,564.0 except as may be amended by special conditions contained herein. 9. If necessary, the signs shall be reduced in width to fit within the first panel on each side of the building. 10. Colors shown on Exhibit F 1st Revision shall take precedence over colors described in Exhibit F -l. 11.
