HomeMy WebLinkAboutASAC Reso 0987HC -51,557.1 RESOLUTION NO. 987 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL C0NNITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF SITE, ARCHITECTURE, LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING FOR A 14,400 SQ. FT. OFFICE BUILDING. PROPERTY OWNER: Ali Yazdanmanesh and Abbass Golpour APPLICANT: Royse/Moezzi/Mazetis ADDRESS: 214 Front Street, Suite 208, San Francisco, California 94111 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: North side of Stevens Creek Boulevard approximately mid -block between Randy Lane and Blaney Avenue. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FINDINGS: The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect to this application: 1. That the proposed development is consistent with approval granted under Planning Commission Resolution No. 2179. 2. The proposed exception to allow a ground sign on a site with insufficient street frontage is approved. The long and narrow configuration of this relatively large lot presents an unusual circumstance that justifies the proposed ground sign. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL: 1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply. 8. The recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibits A, B, C, E, E-1 and F of Application HC -51,557.1 except as may be amended by special conditions contained herein. 9. The proposed ground sign is approved. However the sign shall be constructed of wood, and shall be located perpendicular to the street. 10. ASAC or its staff shall retain the authority to review and require correction of any off -site lighting impacts for lighting fixtures approved under this application. 11. The proposed Brush Cherry shrubs shall be deleted in favor of Photenia trees that are also approved for the Clearlake Office Development. 12. Planting materials with a vertical scale shall be added to the west elevation of the building. 13. Trees to be planted in the parking lot area shall be compatible with those used at the Clearlake site. - 1 - RESOLUTION NO. 987 HC -51,557.1 14. Trees shall be provided in the planter bed adjacent to the easterly property line. The type shall be the same as described in Condition 13 (above). 15.
