RESOLUTION NO. 979
OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL
COMMITTEE RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
SITE, ARCHITECTURE AND LANDSCAPING FOR CABLE TV
FACILITIES TO BE LOCATED ON THE DE ANZA
COLLEGE CAMPUS.
PROPERTY OWNER: Foothill De Anza Community College District
APPLICANT: United Cable Television of Cupertino, Inc.
ADDRESS: 21680 Lomita, Cupertino, California 95014
LOCATION OF PROPERTY: De Anza College Campus in the southeast quadrant of
Stevens Creek Boulevard and the Highway 85 right of way.
FINDING:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect
to this application:
1. That the proposed development is consistent with approval granted under
Planning Commission Resolution No. 2191.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that
they do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein.
In the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated
herein shall apply.
8. The recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibits A and A-1 of
this application except as may be amended by special conditions contained
herein.
9. A landscape screen will be provided adjacent to the westerly property
line of this Cable Television facility site. The intent shall be to
provide an eventual landscape buffer height of approximately 20 ft.
Specific plant materials and irrigation details shall be subject to
staff approval at the building permit level.
10. The exterior walls of the equipment building shall be painted to closely
match the color of the college buildings.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of April, 1981, at the regular meeting of the
Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State of
California, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Committee Members: Miller, Nobel, Morrison and Chairman Rooker
NAYS: 11 None
ABSTAIN: 11 None
ABSENT: 11 Higdon
