RESOLUTION NO. 974
OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE
APPROVAL COP'INIITTEE RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL OF SITE, ARCHITECTURE, LANDSCAPING
AND LIGHTING AND APPROVING SIGNING FOR AN
OFFICE BUILDING.

FINDING:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect to
this application:
1. That the proposed development is consistent with approvals granted under
Planning Commission Resolution Nos. 2171 and 2172.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they do
conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict
does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply.
8. The recommendation of approval is based on Exhibits A, B, B -1 and Informational
of Application HC -51,541.1 except as may be amended by special conditions
contained herein.
9. The final planting plan shall include more trees and other vertical
growth adjacent to the westerly property line. The landscape plan shall
stress a continuity in theme with the adjoining Yazdanmanesh site. The
precise plan shall be informally reviewed by ASAC.
10. Preparation of the final street frontage planting plan shall be delayed
until the City completes a Stevens Creek Boulevard master sidewalk plan study.
11. Conceptual approval is granted for the following sign program:
a. A low -profile cedar street address sign in the "porkchop" area
adjacent to Stevens Creek Boulevard. This sign shall be utilized
by tenants of this building and the adjacent Yazdanmanesh building.
b. A low -profile monument sign in front of the Clearlake Building.
The precise sign plans shall be reviewed informally by ASAC.
12. Staff shall review lighting details at the building permit level to
ensure that the proper cut-off angle is achieved adjacent to the
neighboring single-family homes.

13. ASAC or its staff shall retain the authority to review and require
correction of any off -site lighting impacts for lighting fixtures
approved under this application.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of February, 1981, at the regular meeting
of the Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino,
State of California, by the following roll call vote:
