POSTPONEMENTS OR NEW AGENDA ITEMS WRITTEN COMMUN I CAT I ONS ORAL COMMUNICATIONS PUBLIC HEARINGS: 1. CITY OF CUPERTINO: PUBLIC HEARING to consider a Specific Plan for properties located on both sides of Stevens Creek Boulevard between Stelling Road on the west, and Stern Avenue on the east. The primary function of the Specific Plan is to incorporate existing General Plan land use and circulation policies into a single document. The Plan also incorporates detailed urban design policies. ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The Environmental Review Committee determined that the project impacts were previously assessed as part of the Environmental Impact Report for General Flan Amendment 1-GPA-80. First Hearing. Tentative City Council hearing date - December 5, 1983. 2. CITY OF CUPERTINO: Stevens Creek Boulevard Conceptual Zoning Plan (3-Z-83) - Public Hearing to consider amendments to the zoning plan including but not limited to altaring policies controlling development intensity on existing shopping centers. The amendment is proposed to ensure that the zoning district is consistent with the recent amendments to the Cupertino General Plan. ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The Environmental Review Committee determined that the project impacts were previously, assessed as part of the Environmental Impact Report of General Plan Amendment 1 - GPA,-S0. CITY OF CUPERTINO (VALLCO PARK) : An amendment of a previously approved zoning application (l -Z-83) to conform with the recently amended Cupertino General Plan. The zoning amendment will permit a hotel to be constructed with a maximum of 1,000 rooms (720 rooms previously approved) and a maximum of approximately 970 000 sq. ft. of office space including existing building area (330. 500 sq. ft. was previously approved) . The amendment will expand the zoning boundary to include property located east of Finch Avenue (extension). ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The Environmental Review Committee determined that the project impacts were previously assessed as part of the Environmental Impact Report for General Plan Amendment 1 -SPA -SO. The subject property consists of approximately 41 acres bordered by Stevens Creek Boulevard on the south, Vallco Parkway and Highway 280 on the north, Wolfe Road on the west and the easterly City limit line located approximately 500 ft. east of Tantau Avenue. First Hearing. Tentative City Council hearing date - December 5. 198.3. 4. Application 17 -TM -B3 of MICHAEL A. TANTROPHOL: TENTATIVE MAP to amend conditions of subdivision map approval for Tract 5990 to permit reconfiguration of access for Lot 14 of said subdivision and ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The Environmental Review Committee recommends the granting of a Negative Declaration. The subject property is located on the south side of Rainbow Drive approximately 500 ft. westerly of Bubb Road. First Hearing continued. Tentative City Council hearing date - November 21, 1983. 5. Application 32-U-83 of VIRGIL E. ELLSWORTH: USE PERMIT to construct a single-family home on an existing parcel and ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The project is categorically exempt, hence, no action is required. The subject property is located on the southwest side of Santa Clara Avenue approximately 50 ft. south of Grand Avenue and is zoned P (Planned Development with residential intent). AMENDMENT OF A PREVIOUSLY APPROVED USE PERMIT to construct a two-story office building equaling approximately 11,Ear_0 sq. ft. and ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The protect was previously assessed, hence, no action is required. The subject property is located on the west si de of Pasadena Avenue approximately 5ft. south cf Stevens Creek Boulevard in a P (Planned Development with commercial intent) zoning district. BERTAIN: PREZONE approximately 0.17 acres of unincorporated territory from Santa Clara County R1 -S (Residential Single-family, 8,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size) zone to City of Cupertino R1 -7.S (Residential Single-family, 7,500 sq. ft. minimum lot size) zone or whatever zone may be deemed appropriate by the Planning Commission and ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The project is categorically exempt, hence, no action is required. The subject property is located on the east side of San Fernando Avenue approximately 350 ft. southwest of Byrne Avenue. First Hearing. Tentative City Council hearing date - December 5, 1883. S. Application 34-U-83 of DONALD K. JONES: USE PERMIT to construct a veterinary clinic of approximately 1,900 sq. ft. and ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The Environmental Review Committee recommends the granting of a Negative Declaration. The subject property is located at the northeast corner of Foothill Boulevard and Stevens Creek Boulevard in a P (Planned Development with office use intent). First Hearing.
