PUBLIC HEARINGS:
1. Application 17-U-83 of TOWN CENTER PROPERTIES (JASON CHARTIER):
USE PERMIT to construct 232 attached residential condominium
units and a four story 45,000 sq. ft. office building and
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The Environmental Review Committee
recommends the granting of a Negative Declaration. The subject
property is located between Stevens Creek Boulevard and Rodrigues
Avenue east of the future extension of Torre Avenue in a P
(Planned Development with commercial, office, and residential,
15-30 dwelling units per gross acre intent) zoning district.
First Hearing continued. Tentative City Council hearing date -
August 15, 198-3.
2. Applications b -Z-83, 20-U-83 and 9 -TM -83 of TERRY BROWN
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY: REZONING approximately two gross acres
from R1-10 (Residential Single-family, 10,000 sq. ft. minimum lot
size zone to P (Planned Development with Residential
Single -Family intent) zone or whatever zone may be deemed
appropriate by the Planning Commission; USE PERMIT to construct
seven single-family homes; TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION MAP to subdivide
the site into eight parcels and ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The
Environmental Review Committee recommends the granting of a
Negative Declaration. The subject property is located on the
east side of Carmen Road, southerly of Stevens Creek Boulevard
behind the existing homes which front Carmen Road. First Hearing
continued. Tentative City Council hearing date -
September 6, 1983.

3. Application 14-U-1983 of JOSE LOPEZ/DAN DIANDA: USE PERMIT to
construct two detached single-family houses and ENVIRONMENTAL
REVIEW: The project is categorically exempt, hence, no action is
required. The subject property is located on the east side of
Peninsula Boulevard approximately 250 f t . south of University Way
in a P (Planned Development with residential intent) zoning
district. First Hearing. Tentative City Council hearing date -
August 15, 1983.
4. Applications 7-Z-83 and 10 -TM -8-3 of ROBERT SCHEY: REZONING
approximately 1.35 gross acres from P (Planned Develoment, 1-5
residential dwelling units per gross acre intent) zoning district
to RI -6 (Residential Single-family 6,000 sq. ft. minimum lot
size) zone or whatever zone may be deemed appropriate by the
Planning Commission; TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION MAP to subdivide
approximately 1.35 acres into seven parcels ranging in size from
6,050 sq. ft. to 7,400 sq. ft. and ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The
Environmental Review Committee recommends the granting ❑f a
Negative Declaration. The subject property is located on the
south side of Bollinger Road approximately 250 f t . west of Kim
Street. First Hearing. Tentative City Council hearing date
September 6, 1983.
5. Application 23-U-83 of PINN BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION: USE PERMIT to
construct 46 attached residential dwelling units and
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The Environmental Review Committee
recommends the granting of a Negative Declaration. The subject
property is located on the northeast corner of Torre Avenue and
Rodrigues Avenue in a P (Planned Development with commercial,
office and residential, maximum 30 dwelling units per gross acre
intent) zoning district. First Hearing. Tentative City Council
hearing date - August 15. 198.3.
4. Applications 24-U-83 and 12 -TM -81 of MANTA VISTA PROPERTIES
(TERRY BROWN): USE PERMIT to construct six detached
single-family residential dwelling units; TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION
MAP to subdivide approximately .64 acre into six parcels ranging
in size from 2,900 sq. ft. to 3.700 sq. ft. and ENVIRONMENTAL
REVIEW: The Environmental Review Committee recommends the
granting of a Negative Declaration. The subject property is
located on the north side of Granada Avenue approximately 2i_,[) ft.
west of Orange Avenue in a P (Planned Development with
residential, 4.4-12 dwelling units per gross acre intent) zoning
district. First Hearing. Tentative City Council hearing date -
August 15, 1983.
7. CITY OF CUPERTINO: PUBLIC HEARING to amend the R1 (Residential
Single-family) and RHS (Residential Hillside Slope Density
Formula) zoning districts to allow "second units" (two dwelling
units) on a single family lot and amend provisions related to
building height and setbacks. ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The
Environmental Review Committee recommends the granting of a
Negative Declaration. First Hearing continued.- Tentative City
Council hearing date - September 6, 1983.
