PUBLIC HEARINGS:
1. Application 9-U-83 of INTERLAND DEVELOPMENT COMPANY (SEVEN SPRINGS RANCH):
USE PERMIT to construct 413± residential dwelling units on approximately
107 acres in a P (Planned Development with residential intent) zoning
district and ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The project was previously assessed,
hence, no action is required. The units shall consist of detached houses,
semi-detached townhouses and attached townhouses. The subject property
is bounded by Rainbow Drive to the north, Stelling Road to the east,
Prospect Road to the south and Fremont Older Preserve/Upland Way to the
west. First Hearing continued. Tentative City Council hearing date -
May 2, 1983.
2. Application 1-GPA-80 of CITY OF CUPERTINO GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT: Continued
Public Hearing to consider a comprehensive amendment of the City of Cupertino
General Plan and a Specific Plan for the Stevens Creek Boulevard Planning
Area. The General Plan will concentrate on land use, traffic circulation,
housing and economic issues which affect the entire community. The Stevens
Creek Boulevard Specific Plan will concentrate on the development of a more
detailed land use, circulation and urban design plan for properties which
abut the reach of Stevens Creek Boulevard between Stelling Road on the
west and Stern Avenue on the east.
3. Application 3-Z-83 of CITY OF CUPERTINO (STEVENS CREEK BOULEVARD ZONING PLAN):
REZONING AND PREZONING approximately 160 acres from various zoning districts
to P (Planned Development) zone or whatever zone may be deemed appropriate
by the Planning Commission and ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: The Environmental
Review Committee recommends the granting of a Negative Declaration. The
subject property is located on Stevens Creek Boulevard generally bounded
by Stern Avenue on the east and Stelling Road to the west excluding the
Vallco Park area and the Town Center area. The purpose of the application
is to zone the affected properties to a zoning district which is consistent
with the General Plan. First Hearing. Tentative City Council hearing date -
May 16, 1983.

4. Application 33-U-79 of GREGG BUNKER (PHOTO DRIVE -UP): A PUBLIC HEARING
initiated by the City of Cupertino to consider the revocation of Use Permit
33-U-79 (allowing the operation of a drive -up window) because of non-compliance
with Conditions of Approval. Said property is located at the northwest corner
of Wildflower Way and Saratoga -Sunnyvale Road in a P (Planned Development
with commercial and residential, 5-15 dwelling units per gross acre intent)
zoning district. First Hearing continued.

OFFICIAL DATE AND TIME WILL BE ESTABLISED BY THE
PLANNING COMMISSION ON APRIL 25, 1983.
5. Application 1-Z-83 of VALLCO PARK, LTD.: REZONING approximately 42 acres
from OP (Professional Office) and CG (General Commercial) to P (Planned
Development with commercial, office and hotel intent) zoning district or
whatever zone may be deemed appropriate by the Planning Commission and
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: An Environmental Impact Report is being prepared
as part of the General Plan Amendment (1-GPA-80). The rezoning is requested
to permit construction of a hotel and approximately 1.6 million sq. ft.
mixed use development consisting of multi -story office and commercial
expansion to the Vallco Fashion Park Regional Shopping Center. The subject
property is located on the north side of Stevens Creek Boulevard, east
side of Wolfe Road, south side of Vallco Parkway and at the northeast
corner of Stevens Creek Boulevard and Tantau Avenue, First Hearing continued.
6. Application 6-U-73 of VALLCO PARK, LTD. (VALLCO FASHION PARK REGIONAL
SHOPPING CENTER): AMENDMENT OF THE 1973 USE PERMIT to rescind certain
conditions of approval pertaining to street improvements, truck barricades
and limitations on expansion of the Regional Shopping Center and ENVIRONMENTAL
REVIEW: An Environmental Impact Report is being prepared as part of the General
Plan Amendment (1-GPA-80). The subject property consists of the Vallco Fashion
Park Regional Shopping Center located on the east and west side of Wolfe Road
south of Highway 280 and north of Stevens Creek Boulevard. The Regional
Shopping Center is located in a P (Planned Development with regional shopping
center/commercial use intent) zoning district. First Hearing continued.
7. Application 2-Z-83 of CUPERTINO CITY CENTER (PROMETHEUS DEVELOPMENT): REZONING
approximately 26 acres from P (Planned Development with residential, commercial
and office use intent) zoning district to P (Planned Development with commercial,
office, industrial and hotel intent) zoning district or whatever zone may be
deemed appropriate by the Planning Commission and ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: An
Environmental Impact Report is being prepared as part of the General Plan
Amendment (1-GPA-8O). The zone change is requested to allow construction of
approximately 1.2 million sq. ft. of multi -story (maximum eight stories in
height) office, commercial and industrial buildings and a hotel. The subject
property is located on the southeast corner of Stevens Creek Boulevard and
De Anza Boulevard. First Hearing continued.
