HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1402APPLICATION ASAC 51 ,804.1 RESOLUTION NO. 1402 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN EXCEPTION FROM THE SIGN ORDINANCE SECTION 17.24.070 TO ALLOW THE INSTALLATION OF A GROUND SIGN APPLICANT: APPLE COMPUTER PROPERTY OWNER: RENAULT & HANDLEY APPLICANT'S ADDRESS: 20525 MARIANI AVENUE, CUPERTINO 95014 PROJECT LOCATION: 10260 BUBB ROAD FINDINGS: The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with regard to this application: 1. The proposal. is consistent with the intent of the Sign Ordinance. 2. The ground sign will allow ease of identification to persons in vehicles, thereby preserving traffic safety on Bubb Road. CONDITIONS: 1-8) Standard Architectural and Site Approval Committee Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions listed herein. In the event of conflict, the specific conditions listed herein shall prevail. 9) The approval is based upon Exhibits F, F-1, and Info of Application ASAC 51,804.1 except as may be amended by Conditions enumerated herein. 10) The ground sign shall not be located within the public right-of-way. 11) Any sign lighting shall be approved by staff prior to installation. 12) Any signs not inconformance with this approval shall be removal prior to issuance of sign permits.
