A RESOLUTION OF THE CUPERTINO CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING
THE PROCUREMENT OF A DESIGN-BUILD CONTRACT FOR THE CITY
HALL IMPROVEMENTS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMS PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Hall Improvements Capital Improvement Programs
project involves design and construction of a renovation of the City Hall facility; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to 22162(a) of the Public Contract Code design-build
contracts for public works projects over $1,000,000 may be procured and awarded
through a best value process and are allowable with approval of its governing
body; and
WHEREAS, the design-build process is most likely to deliver cost and
schedule benefit for this project; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
authorize the City Manager to procure a design-build contract for the City Hall
Improvements Capital Improvement Programs project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Cupertino this 16th day of December, 2025, by the following vote:
