OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL CO.f-.ITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO TO THE PLANNING COiTiISSION
requesting that the City save trees wherever pos-
sible - even to the extent of some inconvenience
and minor expense to the applicant. Implementa-
tion thereof should be considered at the earliest
possible time in the application process - at
the Planning Commission level. To wait until
further along in the application process is to
preclude the ability to plan for land use. The
applicant should present, as a part of his orig-
inal proposal, his plans for saving trees where
possible and his method to insure that this is
done. Close coordination should be maintained
with staff.
