OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECDING APPROVAL OF
A MODIFIED FREESTANDING SIGN FOR A ERCIAL
SHOPPING NTER, AND RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN
EXCEI'ION TO SECTION 17.20.010(D) OF THE SIGN CODE
TO PERMIT OFF -SITE IDENTIFICATION

PROJECT LOCATION: Pruneridge and Wolfe Road
The Architectural and Site Approval Coitunittee finds as follows with regard
to this application:
1) Proposed Exception is justified per Section 17.44.010 insofar as the
Courtyard Hotel, identified as an off -site use, has its only public
street access from Pruneridge Avenue; denial would constitute hardship
and inconsistency with the ordinance input that signing serve and
facilitate public convenience in locating particular sites in the
community.
CONDITIONS:
1-8) Standard Architectural and Site Approval Committee Conditions to the
extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions listed
herein. In the event of conflict, the specific conditions listed
herein shall prevail.
9) The approval is based upon Exhibit F of Application 51,785.1 except
as may be amended by Conditions enumerated herein.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of May, 1988 at a regular meeting of the
Architectural and Site Approval Comnittee of the City of Cupertino, State
of California, by the following roll call vote:
