RESOLUTION NO. 1371
OF THE ARGIITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO APPROVING
A SATELLITE DISH FOR A HOTEL
APPLICANT/DEVELOPER: Marriott Corporation/Michael Smith

FINDINGS:
The Architectural and Site Approval Corranittee finds as follows with regard
to the subject application:
1. The satellite dish is located out of direct view from Highway 280.
2. The dish will be unobtrusive given the screening effects of the
existing redwood grove and the proposed shrubs.
CONDITIONS:
1-8) Standard Architectural and Site Approval Committee Conditions to the
extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions listed
herein. In the event of conflict, the specific conditions listed
herein shall prevail.
9) This approval is based upon Exhibits A, G, G -1, G-2, G-3, and G-4 of
Application ASAC 51,781.1 except as may be amended by conditions
contained herein.
10) The landscape callout on Exhibit A for the shrubs around the
satellite dish shall be changed from "RP" to "PF" (Photinia
fraseri). The minimum plant container size shall be five gallons.
The landscaping shall be installed immediately following
installation of the satellite dish.
11) A row of Photinia fraseri shall be installed adjacent to the
existing redwood grove to screen the satellite dish from line of
site views from Highway 280. The final landscape plan shall be
approved by staff prior to installation. The minimum plant size
shall be 15 gallons.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of April, 1988 at a regular meeting of
the Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino,
State of California, by the following roll call vote:
