WHEREAS, on Wednesday, June Thirteen, Two Thousand and One, the City of Cupertino wishes to regognize the Mentoring Program at the Pheonix School for its outstanding contributions the
children, families and City of Cupertino; and,
WHEREAS, The Menoring Program at the Pheonix School is known throughout the area as an important opportunity for youth to create meaningful bonds, provide encouragement and build self-esteem;
and,
WHEREAS, The Menoring Program at the Pheonix School has been involved with numerous students in many different capcities always reinforcing the need for education and providing real
life, real relationship experiences .
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that Mayor Sandra James, and the Cupertino City Council, do hereby commend and recognize
The Mentoring Program at the Pheonix School
For providing individualized education and a stronger community for the people and City of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Wednesday, June Thirteen, Two Thousand and One.
