WHEREAS, on Tuesday, April Ten, Two Thousand and One, the City of Cupertino wishes to regognize Roberta Pabst at a gathering in her honor, for her outstanding contributions the children,
families and City of Cupertino; and
WHEREAS, Roberta was elected Trustee of the Cupertino Union School District Board of Education in 1995. She was elected president of the CUSD Board of Education in 1997. Roberta is known
throughout the area as an innovator and consensus builder, who has worked tirelessly on numerous projects on behalf of the CUSD; and
WHEREAS, Roberta has been a profoundly effective advocate for increasing collaboration with the city of Cupertino; and
WHEREAS, Roberta has been involved with numerous educational groups in many different capcities including school volunteer and PTA President. She has also been involved with the Sunnyvale-Cupertino
American Association of University Women and the Fremont Union High School District Foundation.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that Mayor Sandra James, and the Cupertino City Council, do hereby commend and recognize
Roberta Pabst
For creating better schools and a stronger community for the people of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Tuesday, April Ten, Two Thousand and One.
