WHEREAS, on Monday, July Sixteen, Two Thousand and One, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Ann Anger for her outstanding contributions to the children, families and community
of the City of Cupertino; and,
WHEREAS, for over four decades Ann has been a diligent and committed proponent for Monta Vista. She is known to local and state elected officials as an innovator and advocate of the
highest caliber who has worked tirelessly on numerous projects on behalf of Monta Vista; and,
WHEREAS, Ann has been a profoundly effective advocate for increasing consideration of neighborhood interests and neighborhood beautification with the City of Cupertino and the County
of Santa Clara; and,
WHEREAS, Ann has been involved with numerous projects in many different capacities. She was instrumental in the County of Santa Clara Board of Supervisors’ decision to participate in
the California Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Program.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that Mayor Sandra James, and the Cupertino City Council, do hereby commend and recognize
Ann Anger
for her outstanding and exemplary personal commitment and vision and for creating a better and a stronger community for the people of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Monday, July Sixteen, Two Thousand and One.
