WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Michael Gottwald on the occasion of the end of the 2002 little league season and in recognition of his outstanding contributions to
Cupertino; and
WHEREAS, Michael is not only a fervent supporter of Cupertino National Little League, but also a participant in numerous civic meetings and projects; and
WHEREAS, Michael is an enthusiastic and reliable conduit of information throughout our community, serving to keep everyone up to date on little league competition. His diligence is reflected
in his honest contributions to all efforts; and
WHEREAS, Michael has a proven to be a catalyst, helping all in Cupertino to celebrate the accomplishments of our young people.
NOW, therefore, I, Mayor Richard Lowenthal, and the Cupertino City Council, do hereby recognize and commend
Michael Gottwald
for his participation and contributions to civic events and projects and for the example that he has set for the community and people of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Sixteenth day of September, 2002.
