WHEREAS, Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group is bringing their exemplary service and four-star dining to Cupertino with the Cypress Hotel and Helios restaurant; and
WHEREAS, the Cypress Hotel is a unique oasis in the center of Silicon Valley, a prominent part of the Cupertino City Center development, and built on the exact location that was once
considered the crossroads of the “Valley of Heart’s Delight;” and
WHEREAS, the Cypress Hotel will bring unique features and amenities to Santa Clara Valley visitors. The Cypress Hotel’s architecture and innovative interior design set a new standard
for excellence in the South Bay; and
WHEREAS, the staff and management of the Cypress Hotel have demonstrated tremendous dedication to the City of Cupertino and its residents and have made an enormous effort to integrate
themselves into the Cupertino community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Mayor Richard Lowenthal, and the Cupertino City Council, do hereby congratulate the
Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group,
Cypress Hotel and Helios Restaurant
on the occasion of their successful grand opening, and for the beginning of a long and successful partnership with the people and City of Cupertino.
