WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino wishes to thank Jackie Chang on the occasion of the farewell gathering for Michael Chang the Sixth Day of December, Two-Thousand and Three; and
WHEREAS, Jackie Chang, during the twelve years her father was in public service serving as mayor and other elected offices, has been a strong source of personal care and support; and
WHEREAS, Jackie Chang is a talented individual who is interested in science, scouting, Chinese culture, reading; and
WHEREAS, Jackie Chang was among three out of 80 students in her class to earn the Presidential Physical Fitness Award, and has shown unusual aptitude and enthusiasm for sports, especially
Chinese wushu martial arts.
NOW, therefore, I, Mayor Michael Chang, and the Cupertino City Council, do hereby recognize,
Jackie Chang
for her patience, support and for her personal excellence that have made the lives of those around her, better.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this First Day of December, Two-Thousand and Three.
