WHEREAS, the honorable Barry Chang has been elected and served two very successful terms as Board Trustee of the Cupertino Union School District; and
WHEREAS, he has ensured that Cupertino Union School District ranks at the top of California’s schools and introduced a model Chinese Immersion Program; and
WHEREAS, Barry has advocated tirelessly for excellence and inclusion at all levels of the Cupertino Union School District and the broader community;
NOW, therefore, I, Mayor Michael Chang, and the Cupertino City Council, do hereby recognize
Honorable Barry Chang
for his exemplary leadership and dedication to education that has aided the Cupertino Union School District immensely.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Thirteenth day of November, Two-thousand and Three.
