WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Cheung Chor Tai for his enormous dedication to performing face changing at the Moon Festival, and traveling overseas just to do so,
on the occasion of ____; and,
WHEREAS, face changing is an unusual art that most people would otherwise never have the opportunity to witness; and,
WHEREAS, Cheung Chor Tai’s generosity will provide the opportunity for Cupertino residents to witness firsthand this unique art.
NOW, therefore, I, Mayor Sandra James, and the Cupertino City Council, do hereby acknowledge
Cheung Chor Tai
in recognition of his outstanding generosity and dedication to the Moon Festival that will help enrich Cupertino’s cultural heritage.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Thirtieth day of August, Two-thousand and Four.
