WHEREAS, the first ever North America's J.C. Penney's Cover Baby competition is held by World Channel Inc. and City Magazine during April 2005 to June 2005; and,
WHEREAS, World Channel Inc. organizes this event to promote positive family values; and,
WHEREAS, JC Penney’s Store is the title sponsor of the event; and,
WHEREAS, more than 250 kids' pictures were displayed at Cupertino JC Penney’s Store, and the candidates who get most votes will be the winners of this competition.
NOW, therefore, I, Mayor Patrick Kwok, and the Cupertino City Council, do hereby recognize
World Channel, Inc.
for its dedication and exemplary work building a better community for the people, families and city of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Second day of July, Two-thousand and Five.
